What exactly is BeTrack?
BeTrack is a job application manager for Switzerland and the DACH region: a kanban board for all your applications, AI-powered analysis of your CV and cover letter against a specific job ad, plus an editor and export as PDF, Word or text.
Is BeTrack free to use?
Yes, the Starter plan is free forever (5 application trackers, 5 AI checks, no credit card required). Pro (CHF 5.00/month) and Ultimate (CHF 9.90/month) extend limits and features.
How does the AI resume analysis work?
The AI compares your CV and the job ad across four weighted criteria (hard skills, experience, soft skills, format), shows a match score plus found and missing keywords, and gives STAR-based improvement suggestions.
Does the AI invent content in the revised CV?
No. The full CV revision keeps every position, date and skill from the original. Where a metric is missing, the AI inserts a bracketed placeholder instead of fabricating a number.
Which languages does BeTrack support?
The interface and all AI output (analysis, CV, cover letter) work in German, English, French and Italian — including automatic language detection of the CV and job ad.
Where and how is my data stored?
Hosting, database and all uploaded files are stored exclusively in Switzerland. Data is transmitted encrypted for AI features.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No, explicitly not. Processing happens via enterprise APIs that contractually exclude the use of your data for model training.
Can I use BeTrack as proof for unemployment offices (RAV)?
Yes. All tracked applications, statuses and appointments can be exported as proof of job-search activity.
In which formats can I export my CV and cover letter?
As PDF, Word (DOCX) or plain text, with three design templates (classic, modern, minimal) in the built-in editor. Direct printing is also supported.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes, for Chrome. It imports job listings from LinkedIn and other job portals directly into your Kanban board with one click — no manual copying.
How is BeTrack different from ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity?
A blank chat window is only as good as the question you ask it. BeTrack supplies the finished, HR-tested prompt, automatically combines the full context (CV, job ad, language, questionnaire) and returns structured, editable documents instead of chat prose — stored directly with the matching application.
How do I cancel my plan or delete my account?
You can cancel your plan yourself anytime in your profile settings; it stays active until the end of the paid period and then automatically falls back to the free Starter plan. To fully delete your account and all data, write to us at info@betrack.ch.
